The applicator is awesome, I feel. It's soft and holds so much color and makes the color go on smoothly. The other color that I received was part of their wall display but it was marked 75% off. Normally these retail at Rite Aid for $7.99 and it was 75% off. Hard to pass up. The color is Papaya. This color is being discontinued. I like the color but it's not an everyday color for me. It's on the coral side which is in line with the color of the year.
There are other shades in the Escapism collection I would like to try but I am waiting for the next sale.
UPDATE 6/5/12:
I had only reviewed 2 new Colorburst glosses before and I actually owned a few others that I didn't bother to bring out and add to this post. Silly me! I re-took the picture showing all 6 shades that I own along with the full swatches. Colors from left to right: 026 Rosegold (sorry but I think Revlon discontinued this, it was recently on sale for 75% off at Rite Aid), 014 Rose Pearl, 008 Peony, 024 Gold Dust, 020 Papaya (I think this one is discontinued also) and 044 Sunbaked which I did a review at the beginning of this post. Sunbaked is by far my favorite color out of the 6. My second favorite is Peony, it's a nice pink toned gloss. These are not sticky and they have a nice scent that I do like a lot. These glosses I feel stay on longer than other glosses that I have tried. I seriously love everything about these glosses. I don't have a bad thing to say about these. There are a few colors I definitely want to try, 2 shades are from the same collection I got Sunbaked from (Escapism).
This one is a random addition since it's not from the Colorburst but it's another lip gloss that I had all by itself and it's from the Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze line. The color I got is in 512 Timeless Nude. It's a really nice nude color in the tube and on my hand but it totally washes me out. The biggest con about this lip color is it's sooooo drying. I don't know if it was meant to be a matte finish and I hadn't watched any reviews on this before I bought it. I got it on a whim because I happen to see it and liked the color. I have worn it a few times but needed to add a gloss over it to lessen the dry feeling once this sets in. I am hesitant on buying any other shades because of that. But is that normal for this product to do that? I guess I should look up some reviews to see what anyone else has to say. This is not a love for me (finally something I didn't say I loooved! LOL).
