Time is flying too fast...

Ok so my last post was the day before my birthday which is now almost 2 weeks.  It is scary how little time I find to have for myself and how quickly the days have been passing.  It's freaking May people!  So let's get caught up.

My birthday weekend was awesome.  I had a great time seeing everyone and anyone that acknowledged my birthday because truly I don't make a big deal about it.  My friend Jessica, her husband and son came over for dinner and she made me the most amazing Chocolate Mint Chip cookies.  I still have a few left that I am savoring.  I didn't take any pictures, just of the cookies..lol.  I did take pictures of 2 gifts I got.  One I got from Jorge and the other was from my friend Lanie who gave me a gift certificate to Target.  So I got something that I have been wanting but couldn't bring myself into buying for some reason.  Below is the ring that Jorge got me which I LOVE. And the Brush holder set that I have been eyeing for some time.

I posted pictures of the cookies and the day with my family on Facebook.  It's taking forever to post pictures right now so I am not going to upload those on here.  The weekend after we got free tickets to a RC show in Long Beach.  My friend Jessica's husband was working at the event and got us in free.  She was going to go but didn't feel too good so I offered to take her son with us.  Ethan and Brandon had a blast together.  I took lots of pictures which I will have to post later. 

It's been really gray and gloomy this week and the sun is finally out today.  I had painted my nails last night and to me it reminds me of a Lakers theme just without the yellow. 

It's been a while since I have been into the nail art thing but I am getting an itch to get back into the full swing of it again because there are a lot of cute colors for the summer and lots of different cheap nail polishes.  I will have to keep you posted.
