A little while ago, Wet n Wild had a big sale at Walgreens and Rite Aid, not sure if CVS was in on it too because I rarely go there. All of their $1.99 products were on sale for $0.99. So I picked up a bunch of the new Megalast nail polishes. There are many colors to choose from and by far I prefer this line over their regular nail polishes which I have always had issues in the past with. Mostly with the formula drying in the bottle...gross. I do like the formula of these polishes a lot. I love all the colors that I chose and have worn all of them. I was so excited to try these all out and that I literally changed my polish every 2-3 days. 3 if I really, really loved the color. So let's get down to business.
Starting with the lighter pinky shades first:
2% Milk, Sugar Coat, Tropicalia and Undercover
I Need a Refresh-Mint, Heatwave and I Red a Good Book.
Through the Grapevine, On a Trip and Wet Cement
My favorite shade by far is I Need a Refresh-Mint, Heatwave and I Red a Good Book. The brush is wider than other nail polishes I have tried. Personally it makes apply the first coat much easier. The bristles from Undercover was a bit wacky when I first took it out of the bottle. I had to tame the bristles flat and straight before I could use it. But nothing too serious that would put me off on these. There is a sticker indicator at the top indicating the ManiCurve Pro Brush and I have a photo of how wide the brush is.
The wear is typical for Wet n Wild. I see some worn edges the next day if all I did was go to work and type then come home to shower and to bed. I do see chipping within 2 days if I do light housework and wash dishes. But really? I can't complain for $0.99 and I do love the colors and the application. I highly recommend these. I wish I could find a nice light yellow pastel color. It seems like nobody has this shade out right now. I may have missed out on this color, a little too late in the game? My hunt still continues.
